1. FILTER / PURIFY / STERILIZE
Filter: Water flows through an easily replaced biodegradable filter element, featuring exclusive "Dual Seal" double O-rings on each end. This filter removes sediment down to 5 microns. Purify: Chemicals such as chlorine, PCB's, THM's and organic tastes and odors are removed when the filtered water passes through biodegradable granular activated carbon. Sterilize: UV radiation from a low pressure mercury lamp encased in a special high-purity quartz sleeve immersed in water inside of the stainless steel sterilizing chamber kills microorganisms. Optional In-line filtration to reduce lead and/or arsenic. |  |
2. CHILL and SAVE ENERGY
Steri-Cool Purifier/Chiller is able to serve constant 50OF temperature water because it employs a large insulated reservoir and energy saving refrigeration unit to build a reserve of chilled water during low usage periods and handle the peak demands of lunch hours, coffee breaks, etc. and still meet the low average draw. |  |
3. DISTRIBUTE THROUGH THE PLENUM
Steri-Cool water is then distributed through insulated, flexible piping located in the plenum above hung ceiling to feed a random layout of portable water outlets such as break rooms, classrooms or hospital patients' rooms.
